With the end of life of the SV8100 I am getting more migrations to SV9100 and today I ran into an issue that I couldnt find in the documentation. I had a system with 7 IP handsets and only 6 of them registered with the new processor. The customer had a spare handset and that one also would not register, I tried all I could think of, even a factory default of the handset. I then fired up IP Phone manager and spotted the difference, the phones that had registered had a firmware level of but the two that didn't register were I tried reprogramming one of the phones to be the extension I was trying to get going and it came up straight away. Tomorrow I will return to upgrade the firmware on the two problem phones, I will post the result.
